I would like to extend a big thank you to my mentor Mark Victor Hansen for putting together such an event for authors all over the world to come together and network. There were over 600 of us attendees and 12 cream-of-the-crop keynote speakers. Oh how I love this mentor of mine – Mark Victor Hansen. So everyday in the morning I make sure I hug and kissed him and say my “I love You, Mark” in his ear…how sweet. Without Mark, there would be no The Tale of Juliet. Unfortunately, I have no photos of those precious moments. Instead, I keep them all in my heart. However, you can see a few of the photos I did take below.

This is my third time attending. Some people asked me, including my very own family, “Have you not attended that one last year already?” Yes. Indeed. And I can guarantee you this is not my last time either. I am magnetized by the power of the event and all it has done to help my new life’s purpose. This is a heart centered event and the core message will touch your heart, soul and spirit and inspire you to really pursue your highest dreams beyond infinite possibilities.

There have been a series of magical events that happened since I first attended 2 years ago. Let me share them with you. The first time was when I met the prolific editor of THE TALE OF JULIET – You Have the Power to Change Your Life – James Valentine, who not only took this project past the finish line but also turned the course of my life. I met him on the third day, last hour of the event. After I spoke at the stage he came running to where I was seated and introduced himself as an English Author living in the Philippines. What a small world! The place where I used to be a teen-age beach vendor is also the place where he frequently visits, The Matabungkay Beach. The only reason he helped edit my book was because he was blown away on how far I have come since those vending days. He has seen these vendors just like me years ago. He saw the potential of the message that will impact millions of lives. Our meeting was meant to be and happened for a reason. THE SECRET REVEALED: Power of Law of Attraction at work.

A Year later, second time attending, unbelievably, I am already the author of a Best Selling Book which also garnered me an award of “People of The Year Award” and “Independent Publisher First Honorable Mention for Best Non-fiction book in Western Canada.” This is well beyond my wildest dreams. Those moments were when I knew I was destined to be doing what I do now. Living in a life of gratitude, abundance and purpose.

Third time, I now have another hat not only as a Best Selling Author but also as an International Speaker. THE TALE OF JULIET had jet-setted me to Singapore, Japan, United States, Canada and the Philippines. I was speaking to various audiences of CEOs, Entrepreneurs, High Government Officials including meeting the President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Speaking in the Senate, Educators, and many students. I have also gained media awareness through TV, Radio interviews, magazine and newspapers.

So what make the third trip so special? What make this trip most special (I must admit I was at first hesitant to go) was that I brought big hearted gentleman who traveled with me in the Philippines almost a month ago, visiting slum villages and doing the “Program For Success Speaking Tour” with me – Nate Bunger. Watch out, he would definitely be a Best Selling Author and International Speaker. We become what we think about. He is one of the most brilliant big thinkers that I have had the honor to meet.

One of the greatest rewards in life is to mentor someone towards the greatness of being of service to others. Day by day let miracles and mysteries of life unfold. It’s there for us, for everyone.

Another touching moment which happened during the event was when one of the attendees had a brain seizure in the middle of Jack Canfield’s presentation. Jack Canfield is Mark Victor Hansen’s co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and famous for his Success Principles. It was so admirable when Jack calmly handled the situation. He announced if there are Medical Doctors in the audience – there were few – Thank God. He stopped, went to where the lady was and assessed the situation. Someone called 911 and he asked all 600+ of us to calm down and remain seated. Meanwhile he also led us in a meditation process and sent positive energy to this special lady. About half an hour later or so the ambulance arrived and we all clapped our hands. The event resumed! Whew!

On the last day, on our way to dinner hosted by Alex Mandossian – Birthday celebrant, guess who I met? Matthias Shmelz, the author of one of the most expensive books, The Millionaire Maker, and his gorgeous wife Fernanda, Miss World International 1996.

We stayed an extra day to experienced sunny LA and ended up having a delicious lunch along Manhattan Beach. We walked barefooted and lay down in the sand as we opened our eyes and watched at least 6 pods of dolphins who were playing and jumping around close to the shore. What a beautiful sight. Nature and Life at its best!

I finished off with a scoop of walnut vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone. Goodbye Manhattan Beach. Thanks for the cherished memories.

For those whom I met and made friends with during the event let’s keep in touch and support each other. Let me know how I can help you. Together let’s join hands and make a positive difference in this world.

As Mark would say, whether you've published a lot of books already, or haven't even written your first one yet, MEGA Book Marketing University will teach you how to write, publish, and sell more books and touch peoples hearts.

Are you ready for success beyond your wildest dreams? I invite you to come along with me to the next Mega Event. Keep in touch I will keep you posted.

P.S. Also, I would love to share with you that an interesting concept was also introduced that you may want to explore. For excellent business opportunities please go to www.bookwise.com. Take time to listen and watch the presentation of Robert Allen and Paul Evans and let me know if the concept interests you or if you have more questions. I would love to have you on our team.

Photos From Mega Book Marketing

Five dollars ($5.00) from each copy of The Tale of Juliet sold in North America is donated to building houses for the poorest of the poor village in the Philippines. You can learn about this blueprint, and permanently change it in order to start living a life filled with abundance in one fun-filled weekend of intense learning and self-discovery.

T. Harv Eker is the author of the #1 NY Times bestselling book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and his programs have changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world including yours truly. I have enrolled as a QUANTUM LEAP student two and a half years ago and my life has been magical since. Check out my websites www.thetaleofjuliet.com and thetaleofjuliet.blogspot.com

I am only one of thousands living example that if you follow what he teaches in his seminars you will reach the ladder of exponential success well beyond your wildest dreams.

The Tale Of Juliet- You Have The Power To Change Your Life, a book that was a product materialized because of his experiential seminars, was endorsed by Harv. He has been instrumental in the series of successes that I am experiencing right now. Living in a life of gratitude, abundance and purpose.

In his book, Harv teaches how to identify your "financial blueprint" which determines your ability to be successful. Often your success is limited by what your blueprint is set for, much like a thermostat limits the temperature in a room. Unfortunately, as I quickly learned, many of us have our thermostats set on low due to the conditioning we received as children. It's no one's fault; it's simply the way it is for so many of us.

But--and this is big--you can learn to reset your blueprint for a higher level of success.

Do you remember the first time you tried riding a bike? It was hard, but after lots of practice and maybe a bit of falling down, you suddenly found your balance and began riding with ease. Well, that feeling of suddenly being able to ride is exactly how I feel about money since attending Harv's program. And I know you'll feel the same way after you've attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive and learned the critical tools of financial management I learned there.

And the best part? The Millionaire Mind Intensive is complimentary! Your only investment is a $97 materials fee and the purchase of The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.

You have absolutely nothing to lose because the book is a great read and the seminar materials are worth hundreds of dollars in CDs, DVDs and tools. I guarantee you'll have a great time and learn a lot about yourself. That's why I'm encouraging you to do whatever it takes to be at this event.

In this profound seminar you will learn:

The hidden cause of almost all financial problems
How your childhood conditioning is affecting you financially--today
How to reset your financial thermostat for automatic success
How to train your mind to work for you, instead of against you
Yes, I Want a Millionaire Mind!

There are currently events scheduled in cities all over North America including... New York (Mar 27)... Toronto (Apr 18)... Calgary (Apr 25)... Los Angeles (May 2)... plus 5 more cities!

Visit the link below to get the most recent list of upcoming events and register your seat:
http://www.millionairemind.com/a/? page=/orders/&wid=121390

By the way, if you can't attend one of the events you can participate in a Millionaire Mind TeleSeminar. The next one is coming very soon and you have two times to choose from - 4:00 pm Pacific time (7:00 pm Eastern) or 7:00 pm Pacific time (10:00 pm Eastern). Attention! Women in business, you may want to check them out. You can contact Joyce O’Brien at 604 538-2549 or”mailto:joyceobrien@shaw.ca”, She is the energetic membership coordinator.

SWAN – Successful Women Always Network. I was privileged to attend a Chamber of Commerce January breakfast meeting before I set off for the Philippines trip. During this networking breakfast I met Karen Slutsken, (founding member of SWAN South Surrey- White Rock area) who after my 1 minute elevator speech about what I do (owner of a local print shop Digi-Print Graphics and an Inspirational Speaker) invited me to speak at their Feb. 19 meeting. I managed to get back to Canada last week just in time.

During our “connecting” exercise these dynamic women express themselves very well. Although we were in the meeting room upstairs, one restaurant patron went up and announced her “displeasure” of the “invigorating noise” we SUCCESSFUL WOMEN were making. Later on toward the end of the meeting, here comes the manager profusely apologizing for their patron’s behavior.

Let’s send positive energy to that lady disgruntled and cannot somehow bear the joyful and energizing sound of “SUCCESSFUL WOMEN ALWAYS NETWORKING” on a rainy, dull Monday morning.

Thank you very much for inviting me and setting the tone of great weeks, months and year to come! Thank you also for the gift Karen and May for your help. I love the positive feedback you have given me. I am grateful to you all for believing in my mission of inspiring and planting seeds of hope for as many people I could possibly can. I will keep you posted of the work of love in progress. I am off to Los Angles and then to the Philippines again in the next few weeks.

Hats off to SUCCESSFUL WOMEN - THE SECRET of NETWORKING IS CONNECTING FROM DEEP WITHIN YOUR HEART AND SOUL.

Make this year your best ever yet. Set the intention to apply the ABC’s of Success:
A = ACTION
B = BELIEVE
C = COMMIT 100%

When you apply the above ABC’s, it is guaranteed this year will be your best every yet!

Check out our photos below.
SUCCESSFUL WOMEN ALWAYS NETWORK (SWAN)
February 19, 2007

Lively Dynamic Successful women during our "Connecting" Excercise

Hugging, Laughing, full of life

Re-enacting meeting long lost friend

The dynamic group of Successful women. Canada on January 4 with Lourdes, Nate and I decided to take the same concept to the Philippines. I am most grateful for Nate’s fast and immediate action when he willingly booked his airline ticket well ahead of me to prove that his thoughts leads to action which leads to results!

Our first and foremost intention was to visit the GK KALINGA VILLAGE – Baseco, Smokey Mountain and Payatas. That particular day we spent with the poorest of the poor changed Nate’s life forever. What an awakening to this young kind-hearted American man. We connected with many like-minded individuals serving the community and living the life of their dreams. Everything manifests and much more magic occurs. THE SECRET APPLIED and MANIFESTED one by one and more! Imagine!

Sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you who opened your hearts to our message as we helped you realize and awaken the giants within you, to dream the impossible dream, to be the best you possibly can, to share your God-given talent, to manifest your wildest hearts desire and to reach your fullest potential.

It was pretty amazing and magical journey meeting incredibly brilliant people from all walks of life – from College and University Students, Educators, Community Leaders, MBA’s Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Land Developers, Mayors, Congressman in Manila, Batangas, Palawan and Cebu.

There were several Radio, Print Media and TV interviews during our full packed overwhelming trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed the good food at La Maison (highly recommended) and the accommodations at Puerto Princesa- Marina de Bay. We are thankful for the wonderful owner and staff and the hospitality of our newfound friends. See photos taken last November 2006. My husband Ted and I visited one of the GK Villages in the Philippines. It would break your heart to see how young people live in the cramped and unsanitary conditions surrounded by garbage dumps and abject poverty. It's hard to imagine that not too long ago I used to be one of them.

Five dollars ($5.00) from each copy of The Tale of Juliet soldin North America is donated to building houses for the poorest of the poor village in the Philippines. I am committed to building fifty homes by the end of 2007. This is a tall order of course and I do believe it is possible with the help of people who will open their hearts to help with this project. When we do our best, God will do the rest. I would love for you to be part of the Tale of Juliet village. When we give it comes back to us a thousand folds.

You too can donate your time and funds. Look back at what you have become in the process. Unquestionably, you are a different and enhanced person as a result of those defining moments and turning points of your life. For the negative things that happened, find a positive and look for the good that came out of it. Everything happens for a reason and for a purpose. You may not see it now but down the road the puzzle will fit itself in a big picture. You can then look back with gratefulness and at the same time have a sweet smile on your face. Even the darkest moments in our lives offer divine gifts to us. Everything will always work out the way it should be.

Celebrate - blow your own horn. Pat yourself in the back. Why not! Imagine! You have learned and grown so much. In my case (those who have met and known me will know I of course do not mean I’ve grown in height), in wisdom.

Let Go. Let God.

For any unfinished business, anger, qualms, worries, frustrations, fears, disappointments, losses, regrets, and shortcomings; pack them up in a huge box, or trash can and let the garbage truck, (2-10 trips will do too if you used to be like me), the air, river and the ocean take them away. You can even write them all and burn them down in a bon fire or fire place. If someone has wronged you, now is the time to forgive. No room for grudges, bitterness and resentment. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Let it be. Let go. It may not be too easy. This is of course easier said than done. But letting go and forgiving is the only way to move on and let the positive energy flow into your life and creativeness. Learn how to say “I HAVE FORGIVEN YOU”. It doesn’t have to be done face to face, or even personally. Ask for forgiveness in the air, saying it quietly to yourself will do, as long as you really meant it deep within. There has to be a closure. An ending. A conclusion.

Say good bye to old ones. Open the flood gate and welcome the greatest gifts, wonder and miracles that year 2007 has to offer. Decide. Believe that the Best is yet to come for you and it will, GUARANTEED MY FRIEND!!!

Believe from the core of your being that you are enough. You are ready as you ever will be well equipped for the challenges and adventures waiting in the New Year. You can do anything you set your mind to! You too, whatever and wherever of your life you are now, You can create happiness, financial freedom and success! Tune in and Let the magic begins!

To your freedom and success!

Believe In Miracles

Michelle, Jhet, Ted, Catherine and our adopted Korean son, Tom

On Christmas Eve, after a scrumptious meal (turkey with all the trimmings and variety of foods, drinks and deesserrts) at a friend’s home, our family attended the midnight mass. When we arrived, half an hour before the celebration of the Holy Mass, the Church was almost full and yet it was providential that a lady usher greeted me with a warm hug. (her name is Bernice. Few months back she heard me speak and she bought a dozen of The Tale of Juliet to give to her friends) She escorted our family right to the front pew of the church. It was as if the space had been reserved for us. Those simple moments when you least expect them bring joy to my heart. Jesus reserved a front seat for us to hear the Christmas carols and celebrate His birthday. You see, miracles happen when you least expect them.

Our family decided we would only have a simple gift to exchange for Christmas. Before, normally it will take us hours opening gazillions of gifts on Christmas morning. There is beauty and sincerity found in simplifying life and gift giving. I love to share with you what my husband gave me. It is well wrapped, a heavy rectangular box. Unable to figure out at first what’s inside, I thought “Another book? Which author? I sure have plenty supplies of The Tale of Juliet and Ang Kuwento ni Juliet?” I was stunned as I excitedly opened the package and it revealed a wall decor inscribed “BELIEVE IN MIRACLES”. There is also a Celtic cross above the letters.

I was so fortunate that my husband was able to join me at the Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines, during the successful book launch of the Filipino version of The Tale of Juliet. He witnessed the number of books I have signed, often times with “Believe in Miracles”. Miracles Happen When You Believe, Big Dreams to Come True When You Believe. Thank God my husband is on the same page as I am. He supports my vision and mission in planting seeds of inspiration. It was indeed an honor to see and hear him share his thoughts to hundreds of audience members during the book launch. To quote him, “All of us are given a gift to make the best of what we have. You have your own talent. Use it to make your big dreams into reality.” He claims he is not a public speaker. Getting out of his comfort zone, stepping up the podium to support me sure touched the core of my being. One of the best ever gifts.

Let Miracles Happen

We are all capable of letting small and big miracles happen in our lives. Some may prefer to use or hear “wonders” or “marvels” instead. All we need to do is to develop awareness, be in tune to it, anticipate, plant it into our subconscious mind, expect miracles, and they will flow into your everyday life.

As Norman Vincent Peal says, “Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.”

Ang Kuwento Ni Juliet Book Launching Photos

Ang Kuwento Ni Juliet Book Launching Photos

Offering fresh fruits and vegetables to Chairman Dr. Lourdes R. I was in Los Angeles twice this month. There was this gentleman who had heard of me, browsed The Tale Of Juliet website and contacted me. He is the Vice-President of a company. Ted and I met with him over lunch, and he offered us potential business opportunities. A few days later, with Ted’s approval, I flew with this VP to Los Angeles where I received first class and 5 star hotel accommodations to meet the president of the company. I couldn’t believe my eyes. While in the air we chatted and later on, he excused himself to finish reading The Tale Of Juliet. I was feeling a bit uneasy and self-conscious because there he was, reading my life. The following morning, we rejoined for breakfast. While waiting for our driver he continued on reading and few moments later he slowly laid the book down, bent over, and gave me a warm hug. He then said softly,”Thank you for sharing your beautiful and inspiring life”. Years ago, when I was young and very poor in the Philippines, I would never in my wildest dreams have imagined moments like this. A few hours later, I was strolling in one of the most prestigious parts of LA with the two tycoons: the Vice President and the President of the company. Nothing much has come out of that yet, but future potential is on the table, so who knows. That precious moment and the experience alone were worthwhile for me.

Then, our eldest daughter Michelle and I flew to Atlanta, Georgia to attend a conference where we met with renowned Internet Gurus. The World Wide Web both fascinates and scares me. I know very little of how it works. I am a bit behind this technology, and I decided to take a plunge and get into it. I have not improved or done much since – being busy traveling around is my excuse. One of the best things that ever happened was meeting all the like-minded people. Thanks to the encouragement of Julie.

Another great thing that happened, was meeting Nate Bunger. I had heard about his name two weeks before. His name was all over the place in the web as a high school drop out who showed the world how he built a product from the stage and earns USD $12,000+ in less than 72 hours. I said to myself “How I wish I could meet this guy.” Lo and behold, our first day in Atlanta, this person was in the same conference as we were. We have since met twice and started sharing our hopes and dreams via e-mail. My husband Ted and I will be meeting him and his family for dinner. By the way, he has also purchased a copy of The Tale of Juliet and became an avid fan. How honored I am to have met him. He is a young cookie. It is very humbling to meet such a young person with BIG DREAMS and wanting to make a difference in the lives of others. He is such an inspiration to me and will be, to many in many years to come.

Last week I had the huge opportunity to be a member of the support team of Mark Victor Hansen. It was another phenomenal experience to witness and be a part of what goes on behind the scenes of an event such as the Mega Speaking Empire in Los Angeles. As you probably know, Mark is one of my mentors. He is very instrumental in making The Tale of Juliet happen. Without his persuasion and encouragement, The Tale of Juliet would have never been a reality.

I can’t even begin to tell you all the great things that happened and the wonderful connections made while I was there. My point here is to always strive for the best and connect with people. Open your hearts and minds to be with like-minded people as well as people bigger than yourself. Learn from them, and continue to enjoy the journey along the way.

I also had the opportunity to chat with a couple of the waiters who happened to be Filipino. They have been in the United States for just over a year. I gave them words of wisdom and encouraged them to strive for the best and always learn something new. I understood how lonely they could be, being away from their families. There will always be ups and downs. I told them to create a vision, have a goal, dream big and uplift their lives and their families. By doing this, anything and everything can come true.

Lot’s more to share with you next time.

THINK BIG. DREAM BIG!

Photos

Maritoni's Excellent Hospitality. Some of them are well best selling authors, literary agents and publishing gurus like Barbara De Angelis, Richard Paul Evans, Jillian Manus, Dan Poynter, Rick Frishman, Armand Morin, Marc Victory Hansen himself and many others. I am thankful for new friends and associates I have met.

Japan – I traveled with my youngest daughter Catherine. It was both our first time in Japan. Spoke to Filipino community and church leaders and to Philippine National Bank officials and staff. Enjoyed the hospitality of new found friends and kind-hearted people such as Maritoni’s family and friends Leah, Joy, John, Sister, Deacon and many others. We also had a chance to tour around busy Tokyo in the guidance of our tour guide Deacon. Short and sweet visit it was! We will definately be back.

Philippines – Catherine and I traveled in some remote areas – Batangas, Bicol region and Baguio City. It has been rewarding experience to be invited to speak to different schools, Summit of school principals, teachers and youth leaders, the Senate, several Rotary Clubs and in seminars sometimes with audience of up to 3,000 people. I must say hats off to our 16 year old daughter Catherine who spent her whole summer following her mother around, opening our hearts to people and new places we visited, experiencing rainy tropical weather, storms, a flood, lightning and thunderstorms, no aircon under 40 degrees hot nights and no running water. I feel so proud of her when at one point she was officially introducing me to over a thousand people in the audience (Thanks to coaching and inspiration from Anthony Pangilinan) She also had fond memories meeting some young famous artists of ABS-CBN, also an honor to meet Gary Valenciano, Gabriel Valenciano, and Christian Bautista. My sincere Gratitude to many people that have helped me pass on the message of The Tale Of Juliet. Too many to mention, you know who you are – Carmen, Atty. San Buenaventura, Jay Tambunting, Ed Pelaez, and many more

After four long weeks on the road, I came back to home Canada to the loving arms of Michelle, Ted, Mary Ann and yes our black 100lb Labrador “sneakers”. Immense gratitude to staff of Digi-print – all is well! Thanks be to God.

I have barely unpacked less than 24hours later, we took off to our most awaited Family Fun Holiday – Orlando, Florida, USA. We visited our friends Richard and Geri Calais whom I haven’t seen for 9 long years. Richard and I used to worked together in Yemen Arab Republic where some part of my “charmed” life has begun. Upon arrival Geri announced Mark Victor Hansen and Art Linkletter are both in town promoting their book “Live The Rest of Your Life the Best of Your Life”. I seized the opportunity to see Mark once again, although I have seen him already 4 weeks prior to that in Mega Book Marketing University. My children had the opportunity to finally meet and hug Mark Victor Hansen who inspired and mentored me to write “The Tale Of Juliet”.

The Happiest Place on Earth. My admiration to Walt Disney for the realization of his dream come true – DISNEYWORLD! For living a legacy for the rest of the world to see and enjoy. Our family had been so fortunate to have visited Disneyland five times and Disneyworld for the second time – and really you will never get tired of going back there over and over again. There are lots to see and experience.

Jetsetter buzz this month. They were all from far away places; North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. I hugged my Hubby, darling Daughters Michelle and Catherine, Sister Mary Ann, Digi-Print angels and unpacked and pack again twenty four hours later for my Asian trip.

Catherine my sweet younger daughter [also just about the coolest person on earth] and I are in Japan now as I am writing this blog.

What a busy and high tech this Pearl of the orient is. Tomorrow I will give talks to Filipino Community leaders somewhere in Tokyo. I am most grateful to Maritoni and her family, Lia and Rose who are doing their absolute best to make our first stay in Japan most memorable by showing us places and connecting us to people who open their hearts to The Tale of Juliet's message of hope.

Oh how fortunate and most thankful we were having been upgraded to first class from Vancouver to Japan. I was seated next to a Canadian executive who not only works in Japan but also read and spoke the language. He was so kind to give us a briefing of what to expect.

While we were a bit disoriented at the airport, a Japanese business man offered to help us purchased ticket and get to the right train where a friend would be picking us up. Upon getting into our destination, another kind hearted Japanese man helped us connect to where Maritoni and her lovely daughter were excitedly waiting for us with open hearts.

How wonderful people are! What a beautiful life journey this is.

Tuesday we are off to Manila where another amazing adventure will begin.

Will keep you posted about the rest of our Japan adventure!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://thetaleofjuliet.blogspot.com/2006/07/jetsetter-buzz-this-month-hot-summer.html' title='Jetsetter buzz this month. The Tale of Juliet has reconnected me with an old acquaintance – a friend whom I have not heard from in 21 long years. He just happened to have typed up my name in Google and was surprised to come up with Jhet aka “Juliet, author of the Best Selling book The Tale of Juliet”. He is a Filipino engineer whom I met in Yemen, and would you imagine – he also is living in Canada with his family just as I am. “Thanks to Google” I say.

Radio Interviews

Few interviews broadcasted on live radio around the USA in such places as Rhode Island, Philadelphia and Idaho.

Speaking Engagements

Recent speaking engagements with Burnaby Board of Trade, Rotary Club, Catholic Women’s League and Independent Care Homes.

It is truly another blessing how we met people. I met an author named Anne Bercht who connected me with Ron and Tina who owns Bridges Consulting Inc. in British Columbia Canada. I had an opportunity on two occasions to be invited to speak at their seminar/workshop. Their workshops are meant to be for people who want to function more effectively resulting in healthier relationships and positive stress management. Success and happiness are not beyond your reach. Bridges Consulting Inc. enhances your effectiveness-regardless of your focus or vocation. Their Seminars and Services are "for everyone" who wants to really move ahead and succeed-NOW! Ron and Tina are two of the most compassionate people that I have ever met who are indeed living their passion and mission in life. www.lifelineseminar.com

Off to Japan

The Tale of Juliet continues to expand internationally as I will be taking a trip to Japan in the last week of July. Maritoni, Lia and many others are working extra hard to make it happen for a successful “The Tale Of Juliet” book launch in Japan.

Porter and Miles invited me to speak at their seminar in Manila, Philippines on the 28th of July. I am looking forward to re-connecting with my family, friends and supporters of The Tale of Juliet. If you know of groups, organizations or corporations who would benefit with the inspirational message of hope, faith and determination to live their life in full, please email me at jhet@thetaleofjuliet.com.

Referrals would be greatly appreciated. Together let’s continue to make a difference - one life, one heart, one mind and soul at a time.

Home front:

It has been incredibly busy at the home front, but all is well and there are lots of things to be grateful for.

My hubby and I just got back from a three day motorbike trip to Okanagan Valley, famous for its fruits and wineries. The breathtaking scenery was filled with towering trees, majestic mountains, lots of fresh air, hot sun (just like in the Philippines), pristine lakes, eagles, orchards, vineyard and sweet cherries.

We visited good friends of ours, Sylvie and Bill, in their breathtaking property overlooking the lake. “Yummmy” we were served a very delicious breakfast and for dinner an “Elk” steak with vegetables harvested from their very own garden. It is a scrumptious meal we enjoy annually with wonderful company.

Following a Holy mass last Sunday, praying for our eldest daughter to have a safe and successful competition in Kelowna, I was introduced to a lady who instantly booked me to speak at their event on September 30. What a blessing!

Our daughter Michelle is spreading her wings. She braved her first time ever drive all the way to Kelowna – A five hour drive passing through a steep ravine and a high mountain climb all while having to deal with the holiday traffic. She made it back home safely. Although it was not her best time and distance in her track and field history, she pocketed the gold for long jump and 4th place in the 100m dash. I never heard nor seen her 200m dash event so we do not know where she is at that. As long as she knows that we are all winners when we do our very best. Way to go!

Our youngest daughter and my sister Mary Ann were left at home and enjoyed some time basking at the beach. However they still managed to put some time in at work over the holiday.

I am so blessed to really have met Lourdes Elardo check her out www.speakingwithlourdes.com . We are having our first event Success Strategies for Immigrants in September.

If you can think of someone who would benefit from The Tale of Juliet, please pass the word on to your friends and send them to www.thetaleofjuliet.com. You just never know when your little acts of kindness will have a ripple effect in the life of others. It happened to me. Let’s make it happen to many others and make this world a better place.

God bless you all

Our family with James Hooi widow Jo and their daughter Keara.
*James Hoii is our friend who helped me with initial marketing of The Tale
Of Juliet in Canada and Singapore, he passed away 41 days after diagnosed
with pancreatic Cancer.

Take A Look Inside The Tale of Juliet!

The Tale of Juliet now includes Amazon.com’s LOOK INSIDE THE BOOK feature!

Yes, you and your friends can take a look inside my best seller, The Tale of Juliet, from anywhere in the world and preview the book. Another feather in her cap after being one of People Of The Year Awardee in the Philippines where the book was an instant bestseller. There are over 10,000 copies sold. Part of the proceeds ($5.00 for each copy sold) from the sales of The Tale Of Juliet is donated to building homes for the poorest of the poor in the Philippines. Gee, I do not understand why all the parties and celebrations are well ahead of the final examinations. That sounds backwards to me.

Grad Dinner and Dance was held last Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Vancouver Renaissance Hotel. The graduates all looked amazingly stunning in their "Oscar-like attires". It was a moving, emotional and fun experience for us parents. Another milestone in this beautiful life journey.

Keara is Michelle's best friend and the daughter of our friend James and Jo Hooi. James helped me with the initial marketing for The Tale Of Juliet in Canada and in Singapore. Few weeks after our successful book launching in Singpore he was diagnosed with "terminal pancreatic cancer". Fourty one (41) days later the cancer took over his life. Quite a shock! Life is so precious. No one will ever know when our time here on earth will be up. He is now resting eternally in peace. Your spirit lives on James. Everything happens for a reason. Thank You for sharing your life and friendship with us.
